We had family visitors here over the weekend and I feel like it's been a while since I've made anything or posted. And I enjoy making things and posting. I looked around my studio and here's what I came up with...
First, an almost completed project from Creative Escape--yes, another one.
This is the canvas memo board project we did in Heidi Swapp 's class. I finally got around to picking out a quote and using the rub-ons to put it on the mirror. I also finished the glass marble push pin. I have to figure out what else is going to be on here and then pick out a place to hang it on the wall. I seem to be running out of wall space...
While I had my camera out, I decided to take some pictures of the things that are currently taking up my wall space. First, my wall of J's. As you can see, I currently have 4 of them up there. Every good designer knows that odd numbers of items in groupings, whether it be plants in the garden or letters on the wall, are more pleasing to the eye. Obviously I need to be on the lookout for more J's : - )
Next, I have my rubber stamp shelf. This shelf was custom built for me by my brother in law (who was one of our weekend visitors) with some assistance from me. It holds lots of stamps and I love how it came out. Naturally I could use at least 2 more of them for the rest of my stamps and stamping accoutrements. Alas, no more wall space for that.
Next, a few close ups of some of my stamps. As I may have mentioned before, rubber stamping among the first crafts I took up after college. And by 'took up' I mean started collecting supplies for. Of course I use them, just not as much as I should. On top of that, I always seem to be looking for an image that somehow, among my thousands(?) of stamps, I don't have. But I love the ones
I do have--don't get me wrong. So here are a few close ups of a small portion of my rubber stamp collection. They are from several different companies, if you have a question about a specific stamp just leave a comment or drop me an email and I'll do my best to give you the source.
Now I'm off to organize my clear stamps...
