There's a reason why my mom is known as Mrs. Blossom. She is a master gardener, a seasoned speaker on all matters horticultural, and a flower lover.
I'm pretty sure she's never met a dahlia she didn't like. For Autumn in New Enlgand, their color, beauty and drama in the garden can't be beat. That must be why she faithfully digs up her tubers each year ~ and keeps acquiring more.
She even visited a dahlia farm--in the pouring rain-- when she was in Oregon last month. That peeps, is dedication.
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy,
they are the charming gardeners who make
our souls blossom
