I remember being about 10 years old and going to an Open House with my mom. We went and toured a newly built Colonial on Golf View Drive. The listing agent's name was Mae Walmsley and the house had walk-in closets. One of them was even painted a pale lilac color. My 10 year old self was crazy impressed. It's not like we could afford it were actually considering moving there. Nope, just looking a house for fun.
My point is, I come by my real estalking tendencies honestly.
Here are a few homes I stalked took a drive-by photos of this summer on our way home from the beach in Duxbury, MA.
Love all the porches and the angle of the attached barn.
The wisteria cloaked wrap-around porch on this one is so mysterious yet inviting...
Beautiful plantings, another generous porch and those double glass sunrooms? I could totally live there. And I only got about 1/2 the house in the shot!
This one is more boxy and traditional but again with the wisteria and the screen porch. And look how the house seems to go on and on to the rear. I'd love to explore inside.
In my {local} travels, I drive by so many beautiful and charming homes. I think I may have to start doing two things: 1. bringing my good camera in the car with me and 2. parking the car and getting out to walk. So much harder to be subtle but think of the pictures!
