When you have acreage, you've gotta have outbuildings, right?
Especially when your entire 2 car garage is full of stuff--art stuff, extra food stuff, tool stuff, kid stuff. Fortunately for us, the former (original) owners installed a shed to house all of the yard stuff (riding mower, trimmers, patio furniture, etc.). Of course back then they actually used the garage for their two cars. Whatever.
Here's what the shed looked like for the past 10 years.
Painted the same color as the house (ugh), it was the window trim and window boxes that really bugged me. Too much blah for my taste.
Finally this spring I did something about it.
Cue the white exterior paint.
First the window box...
Then the trim...
Much better.
Add impatiens and finally, I can breathe easy.
A few coordinating accessories add a lovely pink touch.
I catch a glimpse of the shed every time I pull into the driveway. Makes me smile every time.
Funny how less than an hour of work can remedy a years old eyesore!
