This past weekend, Ebby and I headed to upstate New York to celebrate my bff's 40th birthday. Her husband did an excellent job planning a nearly week long Birthday-fest which included a 4 day trip to New Orleans and not one but two surprise parties. My contribution? I showed up and was Surprise #1 on Saturday. Then I got to keep her busy for 6+ hours of girls day out time (it was tough, but I managed ;-) ) before the big surprise party on Sunday night. Oh, and I made her a special Happy 40th birthday banner.
I'd been planning on making it for at least 2 weeks but by the time I actually made it, it was the night before and the morning of, our trip. Oops. Thus the lack of well-lit photos.
No matter, we had a great time celebrating and as Kathy's husband pointed out, all I have to make her for next year is a #1!
