Yard Sale Saturday

Ebby and I headed out (sort of) early on Saturday morning to visit a few yard sales. 
The first one was at a house I've been to a few times before, I think he must be a dealer or something.  He usually has a pretty cool assortment of junque (isn't that the French term for 'stuff so old, ratty and neglected that you have to wash your hands after you paw thru it??) that looks like it came from estate sales.  I spent $5 and got some fun stuff including...

The 'Hurdy Gurdy' is some sort of vintage musical toy with a winding arm on the side.  It's in rough shape, doesn't really play anymore but it was only $1 and the artwork is cool.  The Who Lives Here book was in great shape and only 50 cents.  I really like those penguins : - )
My favorite collection though was the group of vintage costume jewels--along with the personalized swizzle stick.  I love that idea!  Not sure what I'll be doing with my finds, for now I'll just be admiring them.
