I dunno, you figure out what to call it... (these are from Wednesday, our most recent snow day)
He may not be much of a shoveler, but this guy's a lot of entertainment value. Which is of course one of the main reasons we keep him around ; )
We have snow at Ebby's bus stop. Yes, that's Ebby's bus stop right there at the stop sign. What do you mean you can't see it? Let's try another view, shall we? Hmmm, still no bus stop. Oh well, trust me, it's there under the stop sign (which, like so many others in town, was vandalized a few months ago). Guess who's been getting driven to the bus stop lately...
Where else is there snow? In the yard of course. On the trees and bushes.
We even have icicles.
But really Bubbe's icicles are much more impressive.
And by impressive I mean scary and dangerous and apt to cause ice dams that lead to roof leaks.
Impressive. Hopefully not too impressive.
Of course we always have room for more snow (even though the snow we have hasn't melted since, well, 2008...). As I was walking with Maisy to pick the boys up at school today it started snowing. Again. Cuyler was so amped up from watching the inauguration at school, he didn't even wait to put on his snow gear to start playing. He told me he was in a giant snow globe.
Yep, put a dome around him and shake him up!
Another good thing about all this snow? It ensures the children will never starve. They all love to eat snow.
Not to be outdone by the stop sign at the end of the street, we have our own pile of plowed snow at the top of the driveway. There's Will, King of Hmmmp, on top of it all.
And there he goes, flying off of the snow mountain.
"It's kind of my daily routine." Let's just keep this picture of sweet Cuyler in our minds. Let's disregard the Cuyler who pulled his brother (face first) down onto the icy driveway yesterday. Forget about the Cuyler who had his overly emotional mother in tears as he spoke about "getting rid of" his twin brother (in a Sopranos kind of way). The Cuyler who kicked and punched and hit his way thru his first hour at home after school yesterday? Forget about him. Yes, let's just keep this picture of Cuyler drinking hot cocoa in our heads. Because this morning, he was at it again. The cocoa drinking. Of course.
