Book Club
I don't belong to a book club. Not even Oprah's Book Club. Though I have read several of her selections--which I know because the each of the softcover copies of any of her choices is emblazoned with the 'Oprah's Book Club' badge of honor.
I do like to read.
Though Ebby doesn't think I ever read anything but the internet.
I am obviously setting a great example.
I told her that when I do read a novel, I read it quickly. It takes me a day or two. I tend to read nonstop when I do read. And 'tis true, I don't read nearly as many books as BGD or even Ebby. But I do read.
And when I read, I like to take books out of the library.
Where they are free and when you're done you can return them so they don't take up any space in your house. Win-win.
However, it can be hard to walk into the library and remember which books you saw at Barnes & Noble that you wanted to read.
Unless you take pictures with your iPhone.
So let's see what Jen thinks she wants to read next time she goes to the library. The Art of Keeping Secrets and Barefoot. Hmm, what is that other book next to Barefoot? Must've just been in the frame. Let's check the next photo.
The Friday Night Knitting Club and The Lobster Coast. Right onto my list they go. But wait, what is that book to the left, with the black and white picture on the cover? They must've had about 12 copies of it, determined to make its way into my pictures. Let's try one more time
. The Year of Fog and Away. Two more excellent choices I'm sure. Though I've not read either one yet.
Yep, I've got plenty of books on my list. I ought to be all set for when I go to the library next time.
I think I'll start with something by Chelsea Handler...
May I just say... The Year of Fog and *Barefoot...great reads!!
*I've read most of her (Elin Hilderbrand) books. I love that their set on nantucket. I hope you enjoy them!!

It's much more green to read on your Kindle. No trees are cut down to make paper to turn into pages for your hard books and no gas is burned polluting our atmosphere on your drives to the library. Win-win.

Note to self: Add the KINDLE to my Christmas list. Thanks BGD!
